Our Dogs

Here at Curlious, our dogs are first and foremost our companions. They have control over the TV, sleep in the bed, and enjoy the lifestyle of a cherished family pet. Occasionally they'll get groomed up to play show-dog on weekends.

Our dogs enjoy partaking in training classes provided by the North York Obedience Club, which helps ensure their behaviour and manners will be accepted wherever they go. Living in an urban centre, our dogs enjoy routine trips on buses, subways and streetcars, and are always the centre of attention.

Urban living does posess some challenges, but with the abundance of off-leash dog parks and nature trails available, we can enjoy an active lifestyle within the city limits. From chasing squirrels to swimming in creeks, our dogs experience many of life's simple pleasures just minutes from home.

It's not always possible to keep every show hopeful or retired Champion, nor is it fair to them if they would better suit a single-dog family. While it's always hard to see our friends move on to new homes and families, it's always done with their best interests in mind.
